There is hope in your circumstance.

Are you feeling depressed, anxious, or overwhelmed by daily tasks?

If the answer is yes, let's talk. Together, we'll find the best way to treat what's challenging you. 1 practice cognitive behavioral therapy, which has been proven to help people feel better by changing unhealthy thought patterns. Together, we'll practice skills that will serve you long after you've completed therapy.

I approach my Clients collaboratively and with full transparency. The therapeutic relationship is the most important piece to successful therapy. And my goal is for you to be successful in therapy.

This is for you if…

You are motivated to change and open to the idea of change.

You are looking to improve in different areas of your life.

You often feel like you are stuck engaging in certain patterns that no longer work for you.

Individual Therapy

Individual Therapy provides help with a large range of challenges from anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem, to difficulties in intimate relationships, at work, or in career conflicts. For the most part, individual therapy is a conversation about you, about the challenges you have faced and are currently facing, and how to master them. The ultimate goal of this therapy is to enhance your quality of life.

Couples Therapy & Marriage Counseling

Couples therapy is an opportunity to learn a new way to talk to each other. A safe place to practice new communication skills, guidance to help you face your most uncomfortable truths, and a path back to joy in your relationship. At the beginning of therapy, each partner will complete an extensive assessment, The Gottman Relationship Checkup, created by Drs. John and Julie Gottman. This assessment will score a relationship’s strengths and challenges and will provide specific therapeutic recommendations for interventions to work on in your therapy sessions.

Group Therapy & Psycho-education/Skill Building Groups

Group therapy and coaching can give you the opportunity to learn in a group setting and increase accountability on one's progress towards goals. An additional benefit of participating in a group setting is that you don’t only have one person's views, such as in individual Coaching, but multiple perspectives from individuals with similar goals but different experiences and views.

Payments

Payment is collected through our EHR, Simple Practice. It is securely stored on HIPAA-compliant servers and you won’t have to hassle with entering your information multiple times. The following payments are accepted: Credit Cards, Health Saving Account (HSA) Card, Flexible spending account (FSA) Card.

Insurance accepted only for Therapy Clients located in Hawaii: HMSA, UHA

Full Self-pay payments are due at the start of each visit. Co-payments are due at the start of each visit, please contact for optional co-payment arrangements.

Benefits of Self-Pay

Some individuals choose to pay for services independently for greater confidentiality and freedom in health care choices. Another unfortunate aspect of processing visits through insurance has to do with requests for records, limits on the number of sessions, and such. Lastly, utilizing insurance means you are given a mental health diagnosis that may be taken into consideration for future situations like life insurance policies or certain employment opportunities (law enforcement, government work, and military). These are points to consider as you make your payment choices.
