Meet the Team

Jaime Vallete, LMFT

I believe building rapport is the key to a successful therapeutic relationship, and I take pride in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for every patient.

Originally from Hawaii, I've had the privilege of living all over the US, as well as abroad. I have experienced much diversity and believe that integrating your culture into treatment is important.

We'll create an individualized treatment plan that considers your life experiences, values, and beliefs. Nothing is set in stone and by collaborating, we'll figure out what works best for you.

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and have been in the mental health field for 12 years. I have experience working with many clients, from adolescents to seniors. I've provided individual, couples, group, and family therapy, and have experience treating clients within a wide range of care to include: anxiety, depression, addiction, gender-affirmation, and dual diagnoses.

I have two boys who have helped me grow, both as a person and as a provider. They've taught me important life lessons-even my two-year-old. I recently joined Peloton and now understand what the craze is about. I also enjoy baking and find it's a great outlet for relieving stress.

Navigating through life can be a challenging task. Sometimes we just need a little support and that's why I'm here! I'd love to work alongside you on your journey to inspire you to change your story and to empower you to create your best life. I believe relationships are fundamental in any area of life, especially in therapy. I work to create a safe and supportive space so that individuals can feel comfortable in their own skin.

I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Hawai'i. I typically work with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, and LGBTQIA+ issues. I'll work alongside you to teach you how to reframe your thoughts to better manage your emotions, which will lead to personal growth.

I look forward to connecting with you and helping you on your journey of self-exploration to create your best life!

Rose McIntosh, Master’s level Clinician

MFT-pre-licensed

Hello, my name is Rose, I commend your courage in making this initial effort.  Whether working with individuals, groups, or families, I am committed to tailoring my approach to meet the specific needs of each client. The therapeutic relationship is the foundation upon which healing takes place, and I prioritize building trust, respect, and empathy with those who seek my guidance. By actively listening and practicing cultural sensitivity, I aim to ensure that my clients feel understood, validated, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

My work as a therapist has been both fulfilling and humbling. Witnessing the growth, resilience, and transformation of my clients has reinforced my dedication to the field of mental health. As I continue on this path, I remain committed to creating a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals, groups, and families to explore their challenges, develop new skills, and embark on their own paths toward healing and self-discovery.  Through the integration of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Person-Centered Therapy, I aim to empower my clients and foster their personal growth, guiding them toward a brighter and more fulfilling future.

In order to maintain a healthy work-life balance and prioritize my own well-being, I actively practice self-care through various activities. Spending quality time with my family and friends allows me to nurture important relationships and recharge emotionally. Engaging in hobbies such as reading, crocheting, sewing, and DIYs provides a creative outlet and helps me relax and unwind. Additionally, I make it a point to incorporate travel into my life, as exploring new places rejuvenates my mind and offers a fresh perspective. By modeling and encouraging self-care, I strive to inspire my clients to find their own self-nurturing activities and prioritize their well-being.

Gianna Bailey, Master’s level Clinician

CMHC-pre-licensed

Aloha! My Name is Gianna or “Gia”, and I am a Mental Health Counselor primarily specializing in adolescent and emerging adult psychology. I have grown passionate about working to support individuals who have anxiety, depression, eating disorders, neurodivergence, childhood trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, as well as, vocational/ career distress. It is my personal philosophy that emotional support is foremost imperative in creating a foundation for positive change. Therefore, it is my goal to provide a nonjudgmental, compassionate environment for individuals to express their challenges and difficulties. Through my own professional and personal experience, I have recognized that the first, and often hardest, step is to ask for help; thus, doing so, shows a great sign of resilience within you.

Through the use of elements from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy with a social justice lens, and Person-Centered Therapy, I aim to incorporate a collaborative, individualized plan of treatment that is curated based on your unique life experiences. By implementing an integrative approach, combining multiple therapy modality techniques, we will work together to highlight strengths and abilities that will empower you through this journey.

It is my belief that “you cannot pour from an empty cup”, therefore I am actively implementing my own self-care techniques in order to sustain a healthy work-life balance.

In my free time, I enjoy sewing, fashion photography, swimming in the ocean, going to local pop-up events, and watching nostalgic movies and TV shows.
