Group Therapy & Psycho-education/Skill building

What are the benefits of groups?

You are able to get the opportunity to learn in a group setting that increases accountability on one's progress towards goals. Additionally, you are able to have more than one person's views, like in individual Coaching, but multiple perspectives from individuals with similar goals but different experiences and views.

Current groups being offered

Anger Management skills: It's normal for you to feel anger. However, not all people experience anger the same way. It's possible that you get angry more easily and more intensely than the average person. You may easily feel frustration, inconvenience, and annoyance, even with what other people consider trivial. If you have anger issues, you may be having trouble with relationships or work. You may be ruminating and not able to let things go. It may affect your quality of life. If this sounds familiar, enrolling in this anger management skills group is right for you. Learn strategies to identify and control your anger, practice relaxation, solve your problem, communicate better, use humor, give yourself a break, avoid the situation, regular physical activity, consistent healthy meals, and adequate sleep.

Teen Group: This is an ongoing group accepting new group members. This group is ideal for teens who struggle with interpersonal skills among both peers and family. Group members will have the ability to work on interpersonal skills while exploring topics around anxiety, depression, self-esteem, body image, work on building social skills, and connect with peers struggling with similar challenges.
